Do you have or know someone who has a child that will be ready for TK or kindergarten next school year? Students who turn 5 between September 2 and December 2 are eligible for TK. Students who turn 5 by September 1 are eligible for kindergarten. We are having online zoom information meetings for incoming TK/K parents on Wednesday, February 3rd at 10:00 am and Wednesday, February 24th at 5:00 pm. Click the headline for the zoom link page. Enrollment for the 2021-22 school year will open online in February.

This plan outlines the safety protocols Moreland will follow in accordance with the Santa Clara County Public Health Department and internal procedures staff will follow as we transition through the year from Distance Learning to a full reopening as allowed under the guidance.

Families to Farmers has donated Chicken products for distribution to Moreland households. These donations will be served on designated days and times at our curbside meal locations. Please see the flyer attached.

On October 9, 2020, the following message went out to parents via email and text. If you did not receive this message, please contact your school office to confirm your contact information is correct.
When we began our school year in Distance Learning, we set a target date for reviewing our decision on October 1, 2020. Last week, our principals and district office administrators met to discuss the newly released Reopening Guidelines published by the Santa Clara County Office of Education, the data from the parent survey, and the data from the staff survey. We also discussed possible schedules for opening general education classes, budget ramifications of various reopening situations, and what other districts around us are doing.

After reviewing all this information, we are sharing today that we will remain in Distance Learning through December. We will, however, continue to grow and support our current “hybrid” model of opening more satellite programs on all campuses’ in ways that make the most sense for each school site.
