TK-5 Parent Conferences March 18 - March 22

This week all grades are on an early release schedule for parent conferences. Student conferences were scheduled for all children in grades TK- 3 and for some students in grades 4-5. If you have questions about your conference time or would like to schedule a conference please contact your child's teacher. Dismissal times: TK and K dismissal is 11:55 all five days this week. 1st -5th grade dismissal time is 1:30 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesday dismissal time is 12:55 for grades 1st -5th.

Anderson Awarded For Raising Math Scores

Anderson Elementary School is one of 51 schools in the Bay Area named Top Bay Area Public School for Underserved Students from Innovate Public Schools, a nonprofit organization. This designation, featured in Innovate Public Schools annual report, is based on the 2017/2018 state California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) test scores in math. Selected from 1,278 public schools across the Bay Area, Anderson is being recognized based on academic performance and the following key indicators: Schools must successfully close the achievement gap for underserved students Schools have to test at least 95% of their students Schools enroll a representative proportion of underserved students

Mark your calendars! Open House is Wednesday, April 3rd from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Your child will be your guide around campus and show off what they have learned so far this year. You can also explore other classrooms and see what your child will be learning next year. Kona Ice will be here at 5:30 so you can enjoy a treat while you walk around.
