Welcome to Anderson Elementary School, where students, staff and community members work together to create a warm and positive academic climate. Our students come to school each day excited to learn and grow. Our students' positive attitudes and life experiences inspire our staff to continually support students and their families. We are proud of the academic and social growth of our little alligators each year.
We have an outstanding staff who collaborate daily to ensure student success. Our teachers are lifelong learners who use cutting edge instructional strategies to meet the needs of students and make learning fun. When you walk into classrooms you will see students engaged in small groups, cooperative learning, and technology. Students are given frequent opportunities to practice communication skills using academic vocabulary. In addition to regular school, instruction staff members offer tutoring and enrichment opportunities during lunch and after school.
All staff members work together by keeping the campus clean, providing well-balanced meals, caring for students who are sick as well as providing an enriched standards-based curriculum to ensure students reach their full potential in being responsible citizens and lifelong learners.
